2007 - Super Mario

Pretty darn good rendition of Mario, the 'M' on the hat is perfect.

2008 - Link

I was informed that the creator had no idea who Link was. That makes the accuracy even more amazing to me. The shield looks great and sword is even in the right (by which I mean "left") hand.

2009 - Donkey Kong

A little bit of context here.. "Monkey Big" is what my oldest daughter called Donkey Kong when she was younger. She later decided that would be a good nickname for me and it kinda stuck for a while (she doesn't use it too often now though).

The layout of the level is impeccable including the placement of the items.

2010 - Sonic the Hedgehog

Sonic the Hedgehog, complete with attitude.

2011 - Dragon's Lair

This one really surprized me - that is an amazing replica of the cabinet art for Dragon's Lair. I dare say this is the first cake based off it ever created.
