      <title>Saving GameStop</title>
      <link>http://huguesjohnson.com/features/saving-gamestop/</link>
      <description>
		Many analysts think GameStop is doomed once the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 are released. Things definitely look grim for them but I think they have a real chance to survive with a few changes. Although being completely unqualified, here's my shot at creating a long-term plan for them. Unlike my last article, I doubt this one will generate enough traffic to crash my site.

      <title>Electronics Boutique Christmas 1997 Catalog</title>
      <link>http://huguesjohnson.com/scans/EBChristmas97/</link>
      <description>My second attempt to spread some Christmas spirit takes us back to the year 1997. This year isn't quite as exciting as others because there wasn't much competition in the gaming market. The PlayStation was far and away the console leader and this catalog reflects that. It also has the final days of the 16-bit consoles and the scattering of last releases for them. 1997 really isn't one of my favorite years in gaming but if it's one of yours then you'll really enjoy these 100 pages of memories.</description>

      <title>Electronics Boutique Christmas 1992 Catalog</title>
      <link>http://huguesjohnson.com/scans/EBChristmas92/</link>
      <description>I am really struggling to get into the Christmas mood this year. I blame all the retailers who put out their decorations in October. Seriously, October. Right there next to the Halloween decorations. I wouldn't be surprised if the Christmas promotions started on Labor Day next year. If you're feeling all Grinchy like me then I think I have a solution. How about we take a trip 20 years into the past? Let's visit a time when stores were closed on Thanksgiving and opened at their usual time the day after. It was a golden age when the Super Nintendo and Sega Genesis were battling for 16-bit supremacy and CD-ROM technology was emerging. If this doesn't get a holiday spirit flowing for you then check back in a week and we'll try again.

      <description>
		Added a version of NARPassword for Java 6+, this is built in Swing so it's really ugly but also runs on OSs that don't have a JavaFX support.
